Hat trick of deals pays dividends for Towngate Plc
Brighouse-based commercial property specialist Towngate Plc is on a successful streak after leasing three different sites across Yorkshire, totaling 80,000 sq ft.
The hat trick of lettings comes as the region experiences one of the most competitive industrial property markets in living memory. But Towngate is celebrating after taking on tenants at estates in Leeds and Normanton, thanks to their pro-active approach to marketing.
Leeds based instrumentation and monitoring business, Lowe Engineering, has taken the final 5,200 sq ft unit at Airedale Industrial Estate in Hunslet, Leeds. This lease sees the Airedale Industrial Estate fully occupied, a great result for the local Leeds economy.
Towngate Plc has also let the final property at Whitehall Rd Industrial Estate on Ashfield Close in Leeds. The 8th and final unit was recently let to Customer Powder Coaters, which has resulted in Ashfield Close becoming fully let.
A further transaction was completed when Bottleworks, a packing labeling and decoration company took a lease of the 71,360 sq ft industrial property at Ripley Drive, Normanton, near Wakefield.
Philip Caspell, Property Surveyor, and Julia Ford, Marketing Manager for Towngate Plc, stated: "We are delighted that in challenging market conditions our pro-active, occupier-focused approach is paying off and we continue to complete deals."
