Refurbishment of 6x Terraced Warehouse / Industrial Units To Let: Units 4A – F, Walkden, M38 0PT

The modernisation and refurbishment has now been completed of six terraced industrial units to let based at Towngate Business Centre in Walkden, near Manchester.

Units 4A – 4F offer flexibility both in size and use of space, each comprising 5,500 sq ft of warehouse accommodation including general office, kitchen facilities, secure yard and generous parking.

Our previous tenant left these units due to expansion, moving into neighbouring Unit 2 on the same site, giving Towngate the opportunity to upgrade this row of warehouse units whilst marketing the properties in search of our new occupier/s. *ALL UNITS ARE NOW OCCUPIED*

The property refurbishment works which have now completed, involved significant investment and were project managed by our trusted partner and building surveyor, David Stanway & Associates. David and his team worked alongside Ellenby Construction who undertook the appropriate works. The project took around 3 months and the scope of work included:

Complete overhaul of all roof areas
Replacement of personnel escape doors with new powder coated metal framed doors
Overhaul of all glazing to office areas
Reinstatement of any partitioning where units are inter-linked
Overclad of ground floor office external elevations
Overclad of front facing elevations of the warehouse areas and loading door openings
Provision of new insulated sectional electrically operated up and over doors, to the front elevation
Installation of new powder coated aluminium framed main office entrance doors
Overhaul of palisade fencing and gates to the rear yard areas
Redecoration of office accommodation
Replacement of office flooring
Installation of LED lighting throughout each unit
Construction of a new office and kitchen facility within the warehouse area of Unit 4D
