Refurbishment project at the historical Parkview House.
During 2018 and into the New Year of 2019, Parkview House at the Woodvale Office Park, Brighouse underwent an extensive communal refurbishment. The refurbishment included; newly fitted and refurbished bathrooms, landings, stairwells, entrance lobby and external redecoration.
It is now exciting to see that the property has been restored to its former glory, with a fantastically modern twist.
As part of the work undertaken, we were keen to expose some of the original stonework to the former 1800s silk mill and this has been achieved within the lobby area. We selected a superb feature pendant light, providing a modern yet industrial air. The landing to the first floor has been opened up and glazed, allowing extra light into the building via the magnificent arched window within the entrance. The bathrooms have received a full makeover with uniquely ornate floor tiles installed onto the first, second and third floors, offering a majestic feel, deserving of this historical property.
The project was managed on behalf of the Towngate Group by Crowther Turnbull Booth, Leeds, and jointly overseen by Robert Smith, Managing Director, Julia Ford, Marketing Manager and Nick Yates, Assistant Property Surveyor.
The work was undertaken by Dimestage Construction Co. Limited.
