Everything is done in one click. This couldn’t be further from the truth, and there’s often a lot of technical nous going on behind the scenes.

6. What advice would you give to someone starting a career or business within your sector?

Don’t be afraid to try something new. Especially in the earlier days, having a more varied role can help you see what you’re really good at – and what you enjoy.

7. And the best piece of professional advice you were given?

Don’t underestimate yourself.

8. Which do you think will be the biggest trend within your business over the next 12 months?

The development of cloud services. While the cloud itself isn’t necessarily new, this field is growing increasingly complex with the rise of AI technologies, changing regulations, and growing cybersecurity challenges, to name just a few changes.

9. If you are out of the house for an hour, what would be the first activity you opt for, to pass the time?

I would take our lovely 5-year-old Cockapoo, Rocket, for a walk. She also works at the office and loves to meet and greet people – in other words, beg for biscuits.

10. And finally, for a bit of fun, if you could play a part in any movie or TV show, what would it be and why?

That’s a hard one. I think I’d be Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, not least because I’d love to try all the stunts.
