On 15 April 2026, we said a heartfelt farewell to a truly valued member of the Towngate team, Dina Mistry, as she begins her well-deserved retirement alongside her husband, Henry.
Dina joined Towngate nearly 12 years ago and has been an integral part of the team from the very beginning. Her dedication to her work, combined with her warm and infectious personality, has left a lasting impact on colleagues and the wider business.
She will be greatly missed—not only for her professional contributions but also for her laughter, her captivating stories from travels around the world, and her consistently positive presence.
To mark this special milestone, colleagues gathered for a retirement tea at Eric’s in Lindley, Huddersfield, on 8 April and we were even joined by our much loved, retired colleague, Nick Yates. The occasion was both joyful and emotional, providing the perfect opportunity for everyone to share their appreciation and say a proper farewell. Highlights included speeches by Steve Forrest and Amy Jaques, and a heartfelt poem written by Julia Ford, making the evening even more memorable.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dina for her many years of service and wish her and Henry a long, happy, and healthy retirement.
