Friday, 21st November marked the retirement of our dear friend Jazz, who has been part of the Towngate team for over 15 years in his role as Chief Security Guard. His dedication to policing and safeguarding our sites—first at the Towngate Business Centre in Widnes before its sale in 2021, and more recently at the Towngate Business Centre in Walkden, Manchester—has been outstanding. Jazz has always managed and maintained our sites to the highest standard, and we are deeply grateful for his commitment.

On 20th November, Robert, Julia, Jake, and Ed visited Jazz and enjoyed hearing his vivid stories from his long career, including his time in the British Army.  He has certainly lived a colourful and remarkable life!  The stories were told over a slap-up lunch, which included a well deserved gift presentation.

Now, it’s time for Jazz to relax and focus on himself and his family and we wish him a long, happy, and fulfilling retirement.
