99er Business Club Is Back Offering A Fantastic Opportunity to Local Businesses

by Julia Ford

99er Business Club provides a networking opportunity with a difference. Often the lifeblood of local businesses – the events organised by the 99er Business club open up the chance to introduce new people and ideas to support your business’ success.

Each of the members have something else in common too – by signing up, they’re supporting the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and in the process are making a tangible difference to children with life-shortening conditions and their families, who are supported by this fantastic charity.

As one of Towngate’s chosen charities, it was music to our ears when we heard the first face to face 99ers event would be taking place in May this year, having not met in person since previous to the pandemic. Organised to meet at the Dean Clough in Halifax, the day brought together like-minded business people from all around West Yorkshire – each of whom wanted to make a difference to the Forget Me Not Charity and the families they work with.

After we had had the privilege to listen to some of the people who the charity has helped, the Dean Clough team took us for a guided tour of this historic site including the Viaduct Theatre, the Dean Clough Lego Brick Project, the Galleries and many more amazing uses of the space within the former mills.

For those of you who aren’t yet members of the 99er Business Club – we couldn’t recommend it more! All new members are invited to join the next event for free to find out what goes on.

Here’s how your business could support this amazing charity >>

We are so proud to be supporters of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and would like to offer a huge thanks to the Stod Fold Bar and Function Rooms for hosting the event and of course, the wonderful staff at Dean Clough.
